Newsletter 2 July | What does the Bible say about giving?

How does the New Testament encourage us to partner in the spread of the Gospel?

Unlike the teaching and commandments of the Old Testament Law, the New Testament teaches that we give in response to God’s incredible love towards us.  The New Testament suggests that such love deserves our cheerful, willing, affectionate  and generous giving from our abundance.

We are taught through Holy Scripture to give from what we have and not from what we do not have.

Committing to a planned and ordered Dedicated Giving programme enables the parish to budget carefully and efficiently.

Giving results in thanksgiving and blessing as the church reaches out to its own community and to all who are in need around us – to the very ends of the earth!

To God be the glory!

Unfortunately due to the third wave of Covid-19 and harsher lockdown restrictions we are unable to meet in person. However, that does not mean we cannot meet at all. If you are keen to fellowship with Saints and hear and discuss around the word of God join our Online Zoom Church at 9am on Sunday morning. Please message Andrew at 0835462451 for the Link or Email Him at: .

Every Wednesday at 7:30pm

“After the President’s Address on Sunday evening (27 June) indicating that in person gatherings would be suspended, Andrew felt reminded by the Holy Spirit that we are not the building but a Spiritual House (1 Peter 2:5) and that our worship should be in “Spirit and Truth”(John 4:24). With this in mind Kingdom Prayers was born. This is an inter-denominational Prayer ministry with intercessors joining from all across the globe. The session will be about an hour giving us a time to praise our God for who He is and for all He has done and also to bring our concerns and anxieties to Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).”
