It's time to get off the log and into the pond…

How? Where? When?

Fridays, at
St John's in the:
Where you may discover....

All in Gr 0 to Gr 3 are welcome to leapfrog over for loads of fun, laughter and discovering just how much Jesus loves us!

(teaching and discipling pals)

Take good friends, mix them with a good dose of fun, a smattering of nonsense and a huge dollop of God's love and grace and you have the recipe for Tadpals - ready to sample and enjoy for all in Gr 5 - 7.

A place to hang out with old friends, make new ones, explore tough stuff about life, love and God or just to have coffee on the couch after an epic game or two. All in Gr 8 - Gr 12 are invited to join us!

This is our Sunday School which takes place during our 09h30 church service.

We encourage the family to attend the church service first together, where they take communion as a family. The parents then stay behind for the sermon and the children leave to attend their own teaching.

Our teachers are equipped and enthusiastic. There are classes for the different age groups: preschool, Gr 1 and 2, Gr 3 and 4, Gr 5 and 6 and then teen church for all in High School. There are creche facilities available for parents with children 3 years and younger.

Our programme does not stop and we run a holiday programme for the children who are not away on holiday.

OUR VISION:

To empower our youth to follow Christ and serve others through a fun-filled, God-centred ministry

We will strive to:

• be relationship based with the focus on unconditional love and acceptance of each youth member, recognizing their uniqueness and individuality;

• encourage and promote prayer intercession and discipleship;

• teach life-skills and sound biblical principles;

• create opportunities for the youth members and the leadership team to discover and utilize their gifts and talents;

• be a Christ-like example that shows the servant heart of God in all aspects of life;

• create opportunities to serve others within the parish and broader community through outreach programmes.
