Relying on God’s Strength

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me…”

Dear reader, do you feel like you are almost at breaking-point? Do you feel overwhelmed and discouraged by your situation / circumstances? Are you on your final thread? Are you just about ready to throw in the towel and give up?
If this defines your current state of mind, I want to encourage you: God’s strength is available to you! Many believers have never felt God’s strength, because they are too focused on the strength of self and of the flesh. In order to grow in the strength of God you have to be available for God to impart it to you. Spending time with God in prayer and in His Word, is not a religious act at all! It is a place of divine exchange – a place where God can touch you, empower you and strengthen you so that you can press on persevere and endure, despite difficulties and challenges.
Dear friend, you are only a victim of your circumstances if you decide to take that stance or position. Decide today that you are going to be an overcomer – no matter what you are faced with. Realized today that the power of God and the strength of the Holy Spirit is available to you and make time with God so that He may give it to you as per your need!

Prayer: “Father God, we feel overwhelmed today. We need your strength. Please pour your strength out over us – physically, emotionally and spiritually. We realized that we rely on our own strength instead of Yours. We desire Your strength. We realize that this can only be imparted to us if we spend sufficient time alone in your word and in your presence. Help us to be faithful in seeking You out daily. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.”
