We see our Ministry Groups at the building blocks of the Church. Christianity was never intended to be a ‘solo ride’. In fact, Christianity finds its most fulfilling and wonderful expression when people live, act and work in community – as friends, brothers and sisters in Christ.
We have several active Ministry Groups which meet either in the morning, afternoon or evening on various days of the week. We encourage you to contact our office so we can place you in a Ministry Group where you will develop lifelong friendships.
Men have been called by God to be the head of their families, to teach their children the ways of the Lord, and to provide for and protect their wives. However, probably because of our difficulty in opening up to other men, we have often struggled in this calling, not really having any group for support and teaching. A-Men Corner was created for just this purpose.
The idea of this group, to which all men, from 18 to 80, are invited, is to learn from each other and from the teachings that are given, whether from live speakers or from DVD’s. We would also like this group to be run by the men themselves, and so we welcome all suggestions from them, as to what will be prepared for them.
We meet in the church hall on the second Thursday evening of each month, from 19h00 to 21h00, and all men are very welcome to attend, so that we, as brothers in Christ, can support each other, and learn from each other.
"You then, my daughter, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus."
2 Timothy 2:1
Grace Women’s Ministry meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Youth Lounge from 7pm – 8:30pm. We come together as Sisters in Christ to create a space for a moment of Grace as we talk, sing, eat, drink and pray together.
Cancer Support meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 10:00 in the Youth Lounge.
A wonderful time of fellowship, support and encouragement is shared by all.
Do join us for a cuppa and a chat!
There are various Home Groups that meet at different times on different days. Please contact the church office if you would like to be part of a Home Group.
